A light-roast Geisha — the medium-auto preset under-extracts it (sour + flat), so it needed a custom recipe: finer + hotter. Grind 58 lands it.

How it was dialed in:

  • grind 70 → sour — under-extracted
  • grind 55 → slightly bitter — a touch too far
  • grind 58 → clean & sweet ✅

Quick fix: Sour/flat → grind finer (lower number). Bitter/astringent → grind coarser. Drink it hot — light roasts turn bitter as they cool.
